About Greencrest Advent School
Our Story, Values, and Mission
Our History
Greencrest Advent School was established with a vision to provide quality Christian education that integrates faith, learning, and character development. Since our founding, we have been committed to nurturing young minds in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.
Our school has grown from humble beginnings to become a respected institution offering education from Early Childhood Development (ECD) through Junior School (Grade 9). We serve both day and boarding students, creating a diverse and inclusive community where every child is valued.
Over the years, we have maintained our commitment to academic excellence while staying true to our Adventist values and principles. Our graduates leave us well-prepared for the next stage of their educational journey, equipped with strong moral foundations and a passion for service.
Our Values & Adventist Foundation
Adventist Education Philosophy
As a Seventh-day Adventist school, we believe that true education involves the harmonious development of the physical, mental, and spiritual powers. Education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but about character formation and service to others.
Our curriculum integrates biblical principles with academic subjects, helping students understand that all knowledge comes from God and should be used to serve others and honor Him.
Core Values
- ✓ Integrity: Honesty and moral uprightness in all we do
- ✓ Excellence: Striving for the highest standards in academics and character
- ✓ Service: A heart for serving others and making a positive impact
- ✓ Respect: Valuing every individual as created in God's image
- ✓ Community: Building strong relationships and supporting one another
- ✓ Our Promise: No Child Left Behind - Every student receives the support they need to succeed
Faith Integration
Faith is not a separate subject at Greencrest Advent School—it's woven into every aspect of school life. From morning devotions to classroom discussions, from sports activities to service projects, we seek to help students see God's hand in all things.
We encourage students to develop a personal relationship with God, to ask questions, to grow in their faith, and to discover how their God-given talents can be used to bless others.
Character Development
We believe that character is caught as much as it is taught. Our teachers model the values we teach, and our school community provides opportunities for students to practice integrity, responsibility, and compassion.
Through daily interactions, service projects, and intentional character education, we help students develop into young people of strong moral character who are prepared to make a positive difference in the world.
